Main Focus:

The California Women’s Mental Health Policy Council (WMHPC) is a statewide non-partisan membership organization, with a mission to ensure effective, gender-specific culturally appropriate mental health services for women and girls. The Policy Council achieves its mission through training research and advocacy. The WMHPC is governed by a volunteer steering committee and achieves much of its work through the commitment and involvement of the steering committee and the general council membership. The WMHPC invites persons to join who share their goals. Members receive notification of publications, are invited to come to Annual Meetings, and invited to participate in ListServ sharing information about issues affecting the mental health of women and girls in California.
